Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and instructional plans under teacher and specialist direction.
• Assist with preparation of written materials (e.g., progress notes, data collection forms, classroom materials) and help maintain documentation required by the district.
• Provide direct, small-group and one-to-one instructional support to students to reinforce skills and learning objectives.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and support positive behavior management strategies.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with teachers, specialists, and families as directed.
• Help prepare classroom materials, manage supplies, and support classroom routines and transitions.
• Supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, playground, and during transportation as assigned.
• Assist with collecting and recording student progress data and completing billing or service logs as required by district procedures.
• Apply current best practices under the guidance of licensed staff to support student learning and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or paraprofessional certification preferred.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs, including students with disabilities, preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• CPR/First Aid and/or specialized training as required by the district may be required.
